Dieseljohnny is finishing this document Slmz wrote an article about how to calculate the checksum in older(M3.1, M3.3, M3.3.1 motronic) Thanks for this contribution slmz! Also he made a nice guide about the motronic 1.7! I searched almost all the forum and i didnt find advanced tuning guide for EDC15 & EDC16 tuning guide only for TDI sistem for winols So let me explain what i am looking for Example: I have map from car VW golf 5 2.0tdi ( edc16 ) So what i am basically need it is how many% i need to tune every map So if i am starting with Torque Limiter.

    Introduction:

    The EDC16 system is used in cars like the Seat Leon, golf 5 and other cars that are produced in the same

    period. The system looks a lot like the EDC15 system, but the EDC16 system is based on Torque (Nm)

    instead of Injected Quantity. There are a few more differences that are explained in this document. For all

    examples in this document I used the Seat Leon 105hp file

    Fuel related maps

    1. Drivers wish Maps:

    General:

    This map shows the required torque based on the RPM and the Throttle position. The output of this map is

    Torque in Nm. There may be more drivers wish maps, in the file I used for this guide there were 8 drivers

    wish maps.

    General:

    This map limits the torque of the engine based on RPM and atmospheric pressure. The output of this map

    is also Torque in Nm.
